Fuku-Musubi is furoshiki which is designed to invite happiness and form connection between people. Front and back surfaces are respectively dyed in different colours and the patterns.
Those patterns are based on Japanese auspicious omen motifs. Each pattern on both sides has the special meaning and it has been used since ancient days. Enjoy using this furoshiki by switching the colors and patterns depending on your mood or occasion.
Japanese Apricot : The pattern of Japanese apricot is recognized as a symbol of happiness as it blooms earlier than other flowers.
Pine & Bamboo : This patter is a design of pine bark with tiny bamboo. Those trees symbolize longevity as they survive freezing winter.

About Musubi
The name “MUSUBI” comes from “born(生す/musu)” and “beauty(美/bi)” in Japanese. Additionally, “MUSUBI” means “a knot” and “to tie”. The brand is a modern offshoot of Yamada sen-i, which has made furoshiki since 1937 using various dying and weaving techniques such as double-sided dying.
